Kidder man hurt in weekend crash

A Kidder resident was hurt early Sunday when the sport utility vehicle he was driving overturned northwest of Cameron.

The highway patrol reports 29-year-old Patrick Cox was transported to Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph with moderate injuries.

The accident happened eight miles northwest of Cameron on Southeast Grindstone Road when the westbound SUV went off the right side of the road and overturned into the ditch.

Cox was accused of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

Damage to the vehicle was listed as moderate and Cox was wearing a seatbelt.
