Kelly Claycomb, Nursing Director of PN to ADN program, from Ridgeway, MO, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Employee for November. Kelly has been employed at NCMC for thirteen years and holds a Master’s in Nursing Education.

Kelly recently worked tirelessly on NCMC’s PN to ADN nursing program review for CNEA (Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation) with hopes to gain full accreditation by February of 2021.

Kelly said, “My favorite thing about NCMC is all my students and the great people I get to work with every day.” In the future, Kelly hopes to bring in more NCMC nursing alumni to teach clinical and classroom instruction. In the next five years, she sees her department growing in their online program, expanding off-campus locations, and exploring new technologies such as virtual reality for instructional learning.

Each month, nominations are submitted by faculty/staff members for an outstanding employee they feel is hardworking, dedicated, and has made NCMC overall a great place.
