Kansas man arrested in Daviess County on drug allegations

A Kansas man arrested by the Highway Patrol in Daviess County on Tuesday faces drug allegations.

Twenty-six-year-old Charles Oakgrove of Wichita, Kansas has been charged in Daviess County with felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and the misdemeanors of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia as well as operating a motor vehicle owned by another knowing the owner of the vehicle has not maintained financial responsibility.

Bond is $5,000 cash only and supervised by supervision services. Oakgrove is to submit to any form of alcohol or drug testing immediately upon the request of the court or any member of law enforcement.

Oakgrove was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.
