Just shy of two feet of snow falls on Trenton since October 2018

Trenton has seen a total of 23-1/2 inches of snow since the first snowfall of the 2018-2019 season October 15th, when KTTN measured a quarter of an inch with measurable snow falling on 10 different dates.

The Trenton Fire Department, where official measurements are taken, reported a total of six and a quarter inches of snow in November and only a trace of snow on three occasions in December.

Seventeen inches of snow has fallen at Trenton so far in January, and it all fell in the last two weeks on four different dates.

The National Weather Service reports there are more chances of snow for the area this weekend. KTTN’s weather records show the last time this much snow fell at Trenton in January was in 2011 when 18.1 inches was reported.

January of 2018 saw half an inch of snow, and snowfall for the 2017-2018 season measured 12-1/2 inches with six inches of snow falling in April 2018.
