Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox reports his office received 447 prospective juror questionnaires to deliver, and they were to be sent in Friday’s mail.
Livingston County Circuit Clerk Jane Gann is required by law to provide the selected names and forms to the sheriff to deliver. The next jury term runs February 10th through June 7th. Any resident who receives a juror questionnaire should complete it and return it to the circuit clerk.
The forms can be mailed or hand-delivered by entering the north door of the courthouse in Chillicothe.
Cox notes residents who return the forms in person should not take certain items into the courthouse, such as purses, bags, pepper spray, pocket knives, or other concealed weapons.
