“Jungle Book” to be presented at Gallatin

Gallatin will be the site of a Missoula Children’s Theatre production of the Jungle Book July 15th and 16th.

An audition for the production is the morning of July 11th from 10 until noon at Courter Theater at Gallatin.

Those auditioning are asked to arrive prior to 10 o’clock to register and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members also will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

About 50 to 60 roles are available for students entering 1st through 9th grades, no advance preparation is necessary.

Most young people will rehearse about four and one-half hours each day, Monday through Friday, with performances the nights of July 15th and 16th at 7 o’clock.

The Jungle Book is part of the Missoula Children’s Theater’s international touring project and is presented by the Gallatin Theatre League. The production is funded, in part, by the Davis-Aulgur Foundation.
