Judge handed short dockett in Tuesday edition of Grundy County court

Among cases Tuesday in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court:

Trenton resident Timothy Robert Schlaufman pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and carelessly operating a vehicle being involved in an accident on October 27. On a plea agreement, the court placed Schlaufman on two years probation. He’s to donate $100 on each count to a law enforcement fund; pay a recoupment fee and costs.

Two Trenton residents pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges from November on second degree tampering with a utility meter. On a plea agreement, Donald Keith Swigart was fined $100, ordered to donate another $100 to a law enforcement fund, provide restitution of $900 to TMU, pay the prosecutors’ administration fee of $75 and court costs. Victor Lee Tunnell was fined $50.00, ordered to donate $100 to the law enforcement fund and pay court costs.

Carrollton resident Chester Dean Rice Junior pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of ten grams or less as of December 1st. A second count was dismissed in court. Rice was fined $300, ordered to donate $100 to the law enforcement fund, and pay court costs.

Princeton youth Kadin Lamp pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit by 26 miles an hour or more as of December 11th. Lamp was placed on probation for one year. The conditions include successful completion of driver improvement/victim awareness course, do 40 hours community service work at Green Hills Animal Shelter and pay $100 to the law enforcement restitution fund as well as court costs.
