A finalist interviewing for the position of President of North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Jon Marshall of Iola, Kansas, will be on campus on Tuesday, March 22.

Members of the public are invited to meet Jon Marshall at an Open Forum from 3:30 until 4:30 pm in the Cross Hall Coffee Shop on the NCMC campus. Persons may bring questions or discussion items for the candidate and will have an opportunity to provide written comments of their impressions of his strengths and weaknesses as related to the position of being a college president.  Light refreshments will be provided.

The college notes he also is scheduled to meet with North Central students and staff for one hour, starting at 2:30 in the Sugg Room of the Ketcham Community Center.

Jon Marshall is currently the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Allen County Community College in Iola, Kansas, serving the college since 2008.  Prior to joining Allen County, he served as Dean of Humanities and College Readiness at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota, and as Dean of Communications and Mathematics at St. Louis Community College – Meramec in St. Louis, Missouri.

In addition to these administrative roles, Jon worked as a tenured faculty member for St. Louis Community College teaching undergraduate courses and developmental education courses. Marshall earned an Associate in Arts from St. Louis Community College – Forest Park and a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Master of Fine Arts degrees from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Professionally, Jon serves as the President of the Kansas Council of Instructional Administrators and as Chair of the System Council of Chief Academic Officers under the Kansas Board of Regents.  Among his community involvements, Jon was on the Board of Directors for Allen County Hospital and is currently active on the Board of Directors of the REACH Healthcare Foundation in the greater Kansas City region.

Randall has been with KTTN/KGOZ for almost 20 years. He is the current Engineer for all of the stations, as well as working "on-air" from 6 to 10, am in the morning. Randall does a bit of everything including producing advertisements as well as writing the occasional news article. Randall is also the current Webmaster for the studio as well as the local graphic artist.
