Brooke Dustman from Jamesport, MO, a sophomore at North Central Missouri College, has been chosen as this year’s Academic Excellence Award Winner.

Her name will be engraved on a plaque on permanent display on the first floor of Geyer Hall on the NCMC campus.  Brooke will graduate from NCMC in May with an Associate in Arts Degree and then transfer to Truman State University to major in psychology with a statistics minor. Her ultimate goal is to become a clinical psychologist working with children.

The Academic Excellence Award Winner is chosen annually by a faculty committee which selects one student who excels in academics, service, and involvement.  The honoree must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5, be recognized and recommended by an NCMC faculty member, and participate in public service.
