The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education approved several sports cooperatives on Wednesday evening.
Gallatin will be the host school for a coop with Tri-County for junior high football. Tri-County will be the host school for coops with junior high softball and varsity fall baseball with North Daviess and varsity spring baseball with Gallatin.
The board heard an update on school plans and responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and discussed the budget with no action taken. Swearing in and reorganization of the Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education was tabled until the next regular meeting when all members were physically present.
After an executive session, it was announced Alison Lowrey was offered a teaching contract pending a background check. The board tabled the classified evaluations and extra-duty contracts until the May meeting.
