The Jamesport City Council on January 10th approved raising the city clerk’s pay by $1.00 per hour to $15.50 per hour. The raise is due to added responsibilities from the loss of Utility Superintendent Trent Brewer, who died on December 25th.
An ad for a utility superintendent will be placed in the Tri-County Weekly as well as newspapers at Chillicothe, Trenton, and Cameron. Applications will be accepted until February 14th.
