The Jamesport City Council approved an ordinance this week limiting parking on South Grant Street.
City Clerk Shelley Page reports the ordinance prohibits parking on the east and west sides of South Grant Street from Bailey Street south to the city limits. An audit report for July 1st, 2017 to June 20th, 2018 was approved as submitted by the Jamesport’s auditor.
Following a closed session, the council voted to relieve Duane Swalley of his services as utility superintendent. Trent Brewer was hired to fill one of the two utility maintenance positions.
