Two Burlington, Iowa residents were arrested Friday morning in DeKalb County on drug accusations and the driver also was accused of traffic violations.
Forty-two-year-old Michael Walker was accused of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, speeding, and operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license.
Thirty-six-year-old Shauna Maul was accused of felony possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor marijuana count, and a misdemeanor paraphernalia accusation.
Both were taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.
