Iowa man hurt in Daviess County crash

An Iowa man was injured late Monday night in Daviess County when the southbound car he was driving ran off the right side of 220th Street, north of Beacon Avenue, struck a fence then a shed, coming to a stop against the shed.

Fifty-four-year-old Charles Bradshaw of Jefferson, Iowa received minor injuries. Bradshaw was taken by a private vehicle to the Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.

The accident happened two miles northeast of Coffey at 10:45 pm. The car had extensive damage and the patrol report noted Bradshaw was using a seatbelt.
