The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the extradition of a Council Bluffs, Iowa man on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, from the Clarinda, Iowa Correctional Facility.
Forty-five-year-old Lonnie Downs has been charged in Grundy County with felony stealing—fourth or subsequent offense. Bond was $1,500 corporate surety or 10%, and he is scheduled for the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court on February 11th.
Court documents accuse Downs of appropriating a security camera owned by Village East Apartments without consent and with the purpose to deprive them thereof. Downs pleaded guilty to theft in Nebraska in February 2013, September 2013, and May 2019.
