Investigation leads to arrests on charges of endangering the welfare of a child

Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox reports an investigation resulted in the Livingston County Associate Circuit Court issuing arrest warrants for three adults Tuesday on child endangerment charges.

Forty-six-year-old Brandy Kay Davis and 56-year-old Marion Antone Davis, both of Chillicothe, as well as 24-year-old Shanae Damon possibly of Columbia, were charged with two counts of alleged felony first degree endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk—no sexual contact. Bond for each was set at $10,000.

The Davises were arrested, and online court information shows they were scheduled for arraignment Wednesday morning. Damon was placed on the Sheriff’s Office’s Most Wanted website.
