The Highway Patrol reports an Auxvasse (Of-oz) woman sustained moderate injuries when a sport utility vehicle slid on ice on the Grand River Bridge on westbound U. S. Highway 36 in Livingston County on Friday night.

A private vehicle transported 35-year-old Cecelia Snead to the Hedrick Medical Center.

The SUV was in the passing lane before it began to slide, struck the south side of the Grand River Bridge, traveled across the road, and struck the north side of the bridge. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels facing north in the driving lane with moderate damage.
