A La Plata resident received minor injuries when the sports utility vehicle she was driving slid off snow-and-ice-covered Highway 63 and overturned south of La Plata.
Forty-six-year old Marsha Salassa refused medical treatment at the scene.
The crash happened Saturday morning nearly two miles south of La Plata as the vehicle was southbound on Highway 63 when it slid off the right side of the road, hit a ditch, and overturned.
Damage to the SUV was listed as moderate and Ms. Salassa was wearing a seat belt.
