A Lathrop man has been injured in an I-35 traffic accident at Cameron.
The highway patrol reports 34-year-old Matthew Carrel was taken by ambulance Monday morning to Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph with serious Injuries.
Carrel’s northbound pickup went off the east side of Interstate 35 and struck a guardrail. The vehicle came to a stop on the guardrail and was demolished in the 5 am Monday accident.
The driver was using a seat belt.
