The I-35 Cattlemen’s Association is accepting auction item donations for its scholarship dinner later this month to benefit the association’s Youth in Agriculture Scholarship Fund.

Cattlemen’s Night at The Pearl will be held at The Pearl at 5301 Northwest Tom Creek Road south of Hamilton the evening of February 29th. Social hour and a cash bar will start at 5 o’clock, and a prime rib dinner will be served at 6 o’clock. A scholarship auction and dueling pianos will follow the meal.

I-35 Cattlemen’s Association Secretary Mandi Bird says tickets and sponsorships are sold out for the event.

The association serves cattle producers in Caldwell, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, and DeKalb counties. It has awarded 13 high school seniors continuing their education in agriculture with scholarships in the last nine years. The group has also funded local county fairs for the last five years.

Anyone interested in donating an auction item for the Cattlemen’s Night at The Pearl February 29th should contact Secretary Mandi Bird at 660-605-0846.

I-35 Cattlemen’s Association Board members can also be contacted about donating an item.
