A car went off Highway 5 south of Milan Thursday morning, injuring a Humphreys resident.
The driver, 34-year-old Tracy Porter was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital at Milan with moderate injuries.
The accident happened four miles south of Milan on Highway 5 when the southbound car went off the right side of the road, striking the ground and a fence.
The vehicle was extensively damaged and authorities report Ms. Porter was wearing a seatbelt.
