Hugs From Home to hold “Copper Haunt” fundraiser

Hugs from Home of Gallatin will hold the Copper Haunt the weekends leading up to Halloween well as on Halloween in order to raise money for sending quilts to deployed military as well as a food pantry.

The haunt will be held at 114 South Main Street in Gallatin the remaining Friday and Saturday nights of October from 6 to 10 o’clock and on Halloween from 6 to 9 o’clock.

For admission, Hugs from Home will accept free will donations to pay for the shipping costs of the quilts. The cost of shipping per quilt is $18.95.

The organization will send 146 homemade quilts to the Trenton National Guard in Kuwait, and 95 will be sent to Poland and Germany.

It will also accept donations of non-perishable foods for the Little Free Food Pantry.
