Hodge Presbyterian Church to celebrate 50th anniversary with free concert

The Hodge Presbyterian Church of Trenton will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Youth Hall with a free concert featuring a Lakeland, Florida native.

Mezzo-soprano soloist Kimberly Milton will perform in the sanctuary of the Hodge Presbyterian Church the night of October 20th at 7 o’clock with a reception to follow in the Youth Hall.

Milton is the daughter of Gladys Atkins of Trenton who graduated from Harrison School of the Arts and Florida Southern College. Milton received the Grady Rayam Scholarship in Sacred Music as well as the Tuesday Music Club, Lakeland Choral Society, and San Diego Musical Merit scholarships.

Milton placed first in the Advanced College Division of the 2012 Southeast Regional National Association of Teachers Singing and performed operatic roles in several Polk Theatre Cabaret productions.
