Hamilton Police Chief Jon Maples reports that the new slide is in place at the Hamilton City Park.
Funding for the slide was provided through a Chronic Disease Primary Prevention grant with funds directed at increasing healthy lifestyles by promoting increased activity (exercise for all age groups) and healthy nutrition choices to prevent chronic diseases.
The grant was provided to the city by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. With additional money from this grant, the city is looking at resetting the basketball pole at the basketball courts and putting on new nets. Look for these improvements coming soon.
