Trustees of the GEC Community Foundation have awarded 15 grants to area schools. Collectively, the grants total $9,164.
Grant recipients include Trenton Middle School, Pleasant View R-6, Grundy R-5 Elementary, Newtown-Harris, Princeton (elementary, middle, and high school), South Harrison Elementary and Middle School, Gilman City, Cainsville, and Ridgeway.
The latest allocations raise the total number of grants to 486, collectively amounting to $304,818. The next grant application deadline is Monday, June 27th. Applications are available from the offices of Grundy Electric Cooperative or by visiting www.grundyec.com.
