Grundy County real estate and personal property tax bills have been mailed.

Tax payments must be received in person at the Grundy County Collector’s Office in the courthouse in Trenton, put in the new drop box for after hour payments, or postmarked by December 31st. The tax payment drop box is on the north side of the courthouse.

Property owners and residents who not receive a tax bill by November 16th are asked to contact the Collector’s Office at 359-4040 extension 3. Those who do not receive a 2018 personal property tax bill are asked to contact the Assessor’s Office at 359-4040 extension 2 to see if an assessment form is on file.

Collector-treasurer Barbara Harris says failure to receive a notice does not relieve a taxpayer of any tax liability as provided by Missouri State Statute.
