The Grundy County sheriff’s department reports the arrest on drug charges of a man who listed an address of Sacramento, California.

42-year-old Pheng Lee was arrested Friday and charged with one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession with intent to deliver or distribute.

Bond was set at $100,000 cash with Lee to be arraigned Tuesday, January 10 in the Associate Division of the Grundy County Circuit Court.

On an unrelated investigation from last week, Trenton Police arrested 34-year-old Levi Grant Bell of Trenton on charges of second-degree burglary for the alleged purpose of stealing. He’s also charged with resisting arrest for a felony.

A Grundy county warrant accuses Bell on Wednesday, January 4th of unlawfully entering a structure at 909 Avalon belonging to Willie Tunnell. On Friday, January 6th, Bell is accusing of using physical interference to prevent police from taking him into custody.

The warrant describes Bell as hiding beneath stairs and failure to comply with numerous commands from officers to surrender.

Bond is $15,000 cash and the warrant also states Bell is a prior offender having pled guilty to a burglary charge in May 2000. On another matter, Bell is accused of failure to pay a fine and court costs stemming from a plea bargain August 23rd on previous charges of peace disturbance and resisting arrest. He was to have paid the balance due of $192.00 December 27th but court officials say he did not.

Bell is to be in the Associate Division of circuit court January 10.
