Grundy County Sheriff reports arrest of 2 Trenton residents

A rural Trenton woman, 38-year-old Carrie McClain, has been arrested for an incident in which she is accused of allegedly fleeing from a law officer and refusing his multiple commands.

Ms. McClain, who listed a Leisure Lake address, faces a felony charge of resisting arrest for a felony on October 31 when a Grundy County sheriff’s deputy was attempting to place her under arrest on a probation and parole warrant.

The sheriff’s office stated Ms. McClain then allegedly fled into the back of a residence and refused multiple commands from the deputy.

Bond is $10,000 cash with Carrie McClain, who was served yesterday with the arrest warrant, is to appear December 13th in Associate Division of the Grundy County Circuit Court.

34-year-old Levi Bell of Trenton was arrested on a warrant for misdemeanor theft of property valued at less than $500.

Bell is accused between October 24 and 28 of stealing a Missouri license plate that was described as the property of Rapid Removal Disposal.

Bond is $1,000 cash with Bell to appear in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court on December 13th.
