The Grundy County Jewett-Norris Library in Trenton will be closed until April 6th due to the safety and health concerns of patrons and staff. Scheduled events to be held at the library during the closure have been canceled or postponed, including the Friends of the Library dinner and book sale rescheduled for May.
The library staff and board will assess the situation weekly and use information from health officials to determine the safest date to reopen.
Patrons may visit the library website to access online databases to download ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and genealogy materials. The library asks patrons to wait to return books and other items until when the library reopens and to ignore texts or emails regarding overdue items.
