Grundy County Jewett-Norris Library begins its Summer reading program with sign-up and other activities this Saturday, May 18, 2019.
The signup period is from 10 in the morning until 1 o’clock in the afternoon at the children’s department of the library in Trenton. The theme is “A Universe of Stories.”
Those participating on Saturday receive a healthy treat and are invited to take part in making “breath-powered rockets” with members of the Trenton High School Key Club.
A series of weekly activities will be provided by library staff and special presentations will be given on selected dates of the Summer reading program. Last year, the program included approximately 170 children and teens.
