The Grundy County Jewett Norris Library in Trenton is accepting donations from local businesses for its Children’s and Young Adult Summer Reading Program.
The “Libraries Rock”-themed program will provide weekly activities for Tiny Tykes through 12th-grade students to encourage area youth to read and visit the library. About 200 children and teens participated in the program last year.
The library will accept monetary donations as well as coupons and services geared toward businesses for the Summer Reading Program. Businesses who support the program will have their name and logo appear on all publicity for the program.
