Jeff Berti, the Conservation Agent for Grundy County has announced the Missouri Department of Conservation will be conducting a Hunter Education Skills Session in Grundy County on Friday, March 31st.

The class will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 pm at the NCMC Barton Campus south of Trenton and students must complete one of the three forms of the knowledge portion of the Hunter Education course before attending.

This can be done by either taking a $15 online knowledge course at www.mdc.mo.gov and printing the certificate of completion which must be taken to the skills session. You may also choose to attend a knowledge course anywhere in the state. The third option is to pick up a manual at Shopko Hometown and complete the questions in the back, and you will need to bring the manual with you to the skills session.

Students will need to register for the course by going to the Missouri Department of Conservation events section of their website.
