Grundy County Health Department to hold Flu shot clinics

The Grundy County Health Department will be giving Flu shots, on a walk-in basis, on five consecutive Tuesdays beginning September 27th at 17th and lincoln in Trenton.

The schedule is September 27th from 1 until 4 o’clock, October 4th and 11th during the morning and afternoon from 9 until 11:30 and again from 1 until 4 o’clock; October 18th from 1 until 4, and October 25th from 1 until 6 o’clock.

The health department says Flu shots are recommended for all individuals ages six months and older. High dose vaccine is available for people over age 65.

Persons with Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance are asked to take their card for billing purposes. Those uninsured are asked to make a donation to help cover the cost of the vaccine.
