The Grundy County Health Department will hold two flu shot clinics this month.
The clinics will be held September 22 from 1 o’clock in the afternoon to 6 o’clock in the evening and September 28 from 9 o’clock in the morning to 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Shots will be given on a walk-in basis, and no appointment is needed.
The health department reports flu shots are recommended for anyone six months old and older. High dose vaccines will be available for individuals over the age of 65.
Individuals should bring their Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance cards for billing purposes. Uninsured individuals are asked to make a donation to help cover the cost of the vaccine.
