Grundy County Health Department closes doors to the public; services by appointment only

Beginning today, (March 31), the Grundy County Health Department is no longer open for walk-in services, and the doors will be locked.

By appointment only, the department will issue birth and death certificates, children’s immunizations, and WIC services.

The Grundy County Health Department staff is still working and you may call the office at 359-4196 with questions or to make an appointment.

While there have been no positive cases of Coronavirus in Grundy County, patients elsewhere who have tested positive include four in Clinton County, three in Chariton County, one each in Harrison, Livingston, Macon, and Adair counties.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services on Monday afternoon reported the number of positive Coronavirus cases has reached 1,031 across Missouri and there have been 13 deaths. Officials say 15,645 patients have been tested at all labs.
