The Grundy County Health Department has announced dates for October flu shot clinics. Shots will be given on a walk-in basis, no appointment is needed.
Dates for the clinics are as follows:
- Tuesday, October 3, 9 am – 4 pm
- Tuesday, October 10, 9 am – 4 pm
- Tuesday, October 17, 1-4 pm
- Tuesday, October 24, 9 am – 4 pm
- Tuesday, October 31, 9 am – 4 pm
Flu shots are recommended for all individuals age 6 months and older. The health department has a vaccine for every age group, including high-dose vaccine for those over age 65. If you have Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance, bring your card for billing purposes. If you are uninsured, please make a donation to help cover the cost of the vaccine.
