Teresa Smith and Connie Cross will present a program at a Grundy County Genealogical Society meeting about bringing home the remains of their cousin Private First Class Donald R. Tolson.
The public is invited to the meeting to be held in the Hoover Theater at the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library in Trenton the evening of April 30th at 5 o’clock.
Tolson was killed during World War 2 in the Battle of Tarawa in November 1943, however, his remains were returned for burial.
