In the associate division of the Grundy County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Hayden Griffin pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of violating a protection order for an adult related to an incident on August 21. The court suspended the imposition of a sentence and placed Griffin on supervised probation for one year.
Two additional counts against Griffin were dismissed. Although Griffin was listed with a Trenton address at the time of his arrest, the current probation order, as of yesterday, indicates a Columbia address. As part of the probation conditions, Griffin is required to serve six days in the Grundy County Detention Center, make a $100 donation to the law enforcement restitution fund, and cover court costs. Additionally, Griffin is prohibited from contacting the victim, except for matters concerning a child.
Nathan Clark, a resident of Green City, admitted to probation violations during the court proceedings. Associate Judge Carrie Lamm-Clark decided to continue Clark’s probation but mandated that he serve 18 days of incarceration at the Grundy County Detention Center. Upon release, Clark is required to wear a SCRAM monitoring bracelet for 90 days and undergo screening by Preferred Family of Kirksville. Clark’s original charge in Grundy County, dating back to 2022, was for driving while intoxicated.
