It was a busy day in Division One of Grundy County circuit court.

60-year old David Owen, with addresses listed at Springfield, Missouri and Hot Springs, South Dakota, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated/aggravated offender. Owen was sentenced to seven years in prison, although Judge Jack peace retains jurisdiction for 120 days.

47-year old Donna Zeigler of Trenton received a five-year prison sentence after her probation was revoked and a stay was removed from the prison sentence. She had admitted violating her probation in June. She was on probation on charges accusing theft and fraudulent use of a credit or debit device.

29-year old Corey Hines, with addresses listed at Spickard and Trenton, admitted violating his probation. The probation was revoked and Hines was sentenced to four years in prison. It’s to run concurrently with a Livingston County sentence. Hines was on probation in Grundy County on a charge of operating a vehicle without a valid license/third and subsequent offense.

18-year old Shawn Ward of Cameron received a three-year prison sentence after his probation was revoked and the stay was removed from a previous sentence. Ward was on probation on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

A probation for Timothy Ashlock of Chillicothe was revoked. Judge Peace requested Ashlock be placed in a one-year substance abuse treatment program through the Missouri Department of Corrections. That came after a stay was removed from a prison sentence. Ashlock was on probation on charge of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

48-year old Patricia Todd of Trenton was put on five years probation after execution of an eight-year prison sentence was suspended. Todd also was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail with credit given for time served. She had pleaded guilty in may to a controlled substance charge.

33-year old Jennifer Boullion with addresses at Oxnard, California, and Laclede, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and resisting or interfereing with an arrest. Execution of a prison sentence was suspended and Ms. Boullion was put on five years probation.

25-year old Kevin Ewing of Trenton withdrew a prior plea and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute or delivering not more than five grams of marijuana. Imposition of a sentence was suspended and Ewing was put on probation for five years. Ewing is required to perform 40 hours of community service, pay $200 to the law enforcement restitution fund, and complete a third circuit treatment program. Two other counts were dismissed.

20-year old Tristan Greer of Trenton pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Imposition of a sentence was suspended and Greer was put on five-years’ probation.

She’s required to pay $200 to the law enforcement restitution fund, perform 20 hours of community service, and follow all recommendations from a drug assessment she’s to obtain.

A Laredo resident, Patricia Eckert, admitted violating two probations. The probations were continued with additional conditions involving payments of restitution and court costs.

A probation for a Trenton resident, Jeremy Osburn, was continued with additional conditions.

A Trenton resident, Brandy Street, pleaded guilty to an amended charge accusing misdemeanor hindering prosecution. She was sentenced to 28 days in the county jail but given credit for time served. Ms. Street is required to pay incarceration and crime victims compensation fund charges, and $200 to the law enforcement restitution fund.
