Grundy County Circuit Court busy in latest session

Among cases in Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court:

34-year-old Nicholas Arnold Osgan of Trenton pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid drivers’ license.  Osgan was sentenced to serve 15 days in jail. Judge Steve Hudson gave him credit for already serving that time in custody.

23-year-old Dustin Lee Tucker of Trenton pleaded guilty to a charge of failure to return leased or rented property to a Trenton business, McRentals.

Tucker was sentenced to ten days in jail. Judge Hudson gave him credit for serving the time and ordered Tucker to pay restitution of $214 dollars and court costs.

A Spickard resident, 52-year-old Terry Duncan, has waived a preliminary hearing and been bound over to Division One of the Grundy County Circuit Court. Duncan faces charges of unlawful possession of a weapon.

21-year-old Kiersten Allen of Trenton was placed on two years probation after pleading guilty to charges of hindering prosecution and making a false affidavit of misleading a law officer. A plea agreement was involved.

She’s to pay court costs plus 100 dollars to Grundy County law enforcement fund.

On another plea agreement, 34-year-old Raymond Harding of Trenton pleaded guilty to amended charges of resisting arrest – a misdemeanor. Harding was sentenced to 22 days at the Grundy County Detention Center. He was given credit for serving 10 days and remanded for the rest of the sentence.

Among other cases, 27-year-old Kerrie Ann Goerne of Trenton received a suspended imposition of a sentence and was placed on two years probation.

She had pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of interference with custody.

A plea agreement was involved in this case.
