Beginning Sunday, May 19, 2019, the Grundy County Ambulance will celebrate the 45th annual EMS Week.

In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation’s communities. EMS Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s “front line.”

The Grundy County Commission is partnering with the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce to hold “Chamber Coffee”. The event will be held next Thursday, May 23rd from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Emergency Services Complex located at 17th & Harris.

Community members are invited to meet EMS personnel and take a look at the equipment that is used in the world of EMS today.
