In western Adair County Monday afternoon, the highway patrol reports a pickup traveled off a road and struck a parked truck, then hit a fence.
47-year-old Denise Simonis of Greencastle received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
This accident happened on Highway 149, about one mile north of Novinger when the pickup was demolished. The parked truck received minor damage.
The report listed Simonis as wearing a seat belt.
