The Green Hills Animal Shelter in Trenton will hold “Barktoberfest” later this month to raise money for the shelter.
A dinner, auction, and raffle will be held at the Black Silo Winery in Trenton on October 26, 2019. Social time will begin at 5:30 that evening, dinner will be served at 6 o’clock, and the auction will start at 8:30.
The menu will include smoked baby back ribs donated by Smithfield, baked beans, party potatoes, and drinks. Entertainment will be provided by Travis Mullenix and Charlie Bacon Acoustic Jam of Trenton. Those attending can enter to win a Dixie Chopper Zee 2 zero turn mower with a 48-inch deck.
Barktoberfest will cost $30 per person or $240 for a table of eight. Tickets can be purchased from Green Hills Animal Shelter Board members.
Ishmael and Sons Construction, Stevens Excavating and Plumbing, and Bill’s Repairs, Heating, and Cooling sponsor the fundraiser.
