The Grand River Historical Society Museum of Chillicothe will hold a fundraiser to benefit the restoration of the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Museum Curator Pam Clingerman says A Joyful Celebration will be at the United Methodist Church on Walnut in Chillicothe Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. The event will feature vocalists and bands from the area singing hymns and gospel music with free will donations accepted.
The Grand River Historical Society Museum moved the Bethel AME Church to a location near the museum last month.
