Grand Marshals have been announced for the 33rd annual Missouri Day Festival parade on Saturday, October 21.

With the theme of “A Salute to Education,” the Grand Marshals will be the mascots of North Central Missouri College, Grundy County R-5 High School, and Trenton R-9 School District. A Pirate, a Panther, and a Bulldog will lead the parade which begins at 8:30 am on October 21st.

Parade registration for entries can be found by visiting the Trenton Chamber of Commerce website.  Individuals Persons or groups also can contact a Trenton Rotarian and they will refer you to a parade committee member.

The parade is expected to have 100 plus entries including over 35 high school marching bands. Entries will be accepted through Tuesday, October 17 and it should be noted that over $1,000 will be awarded in prizes.

KTTN, through the sponsorship of PDQ Cleaning Services of Trenton, will broadcast the parade on FM 92.3 and PDQ Cleaning will sponsor video coverage of the parade through KTTN’s website and YouTube channel.

KTTN’s broadcast location will be set up near 9th and Main in downtown Trenton for the October 21 parade.
