A Grain Valley resident was hurt Saturday evening when the motorcycle he was operating was hit in the side by an all-terrain vehicle on private property in Carroll County.
34-year old Steven Aldrich of Grain Valley was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital at Carrollton with moderate injuries.
The operator of the all-terrain vehicle, 9-year-old Jarret McCoy of Carrollton, was not reported hurt.
Damage was listed as moderate to the all-terrain vehicle and minor to the motorcycle.
Both operators were wearing safety equipment.
