Governor Greitens appoints several from the area to boards and commissions

Missouri Governor Eric Greitens recently appointed several individuals from the area to boards and commissions.

Ronetta Burton of Pattonsburg was appointed as the Daviess County Clerk. Burton is serving as the Interim Daviess County Clerk, and she served as the Deputy County Clerk for five years. She is a member of the Coffey Fire Protection District Board of Directors and the Daviess County Central Dispatch 911 Board.

Greitens appointed Chassity Nevels of Richmond and Janet Rogers of Lathrop to the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board. Nevels is a school resource officer and DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) instructor with the Richmond Police Department. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in nursing from Moberly Area Community College and received POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) Class A Certification from the Law Enforcement Training Institute.

Rogers is a juvenile officer and the Director of Juvenile County for Clay County Family Court in Liberty, where she has worked more than 20 years. She holds a master’s degree in public affairs and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from Park University. She serves on the board of directors for the Community Action Agency, the Friends of Clay County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and the Transitions Family Visitation.
