A Galt teenager, Adam Tyronne Turner, has pleaded guilty to an amended charge of sexual contact in the first degree.
That’s a misdemeanor charge that was reduced from an original felony charge of attempted sexual abuse of a person less than 14-years-old.
In the associate division of Grundy County Circuit Court, the 17-year-old Turner was sentenced to 210 days in the Grundy County Detention Center. It’s been seven months since Turner was arrested. He was accused of a February 9th incident that authorities say included the cutting of a girl’s shirt and undergarments.
