At a meeting of the Galt Board of Aldermen last evening, a motion was approved to hire a Columbia company for engineering on the Galt lagoon project.
McClure Engineering was hired to assist Galt in planning for the upcoming project required by the Missouri department of natural resources.
The filing period has opened to choose a Mayor and two aldermen at Galt in the election April 4th. Currently, Roseanne Bonine is the Mayor and the aldermen positions are held by Reggie Grindstaff and Bill Jackson.
