The Gallatin Theater League will perform a comedy, by Laura King and directed by Amy McMahon, involving senior residents plotting to break out of a nursing home.
Independence Day at Happy Meadows will be performed at the Courter Theater in Gallatin the nights of March 26th, 27th, and 28th at 7 o’clock.
A synopsis says the play shows that “growing old doesn’t mean growing feeble.” The play received the Southeast Theatre Conference/Stage Rights Ready to Publish Award.
Tickets for Independence Day at Happy Meadows will cost $10.00 per person and can be purchased in advance at Eilene’s Beauty Shop in Gallatin starting February 25th.
